Serial To TCP/IP(ETHERNET) Converter

Commonly referred as Device or Terminal Servers, Serial IP Servers are hardware devices that helps in remote access, control or manage any device over an IP network. These devices are used for the conversion of serial asynchronous data to TCP/IP packets thereby providing genuine serial communication across the Ethernet. Most broadly used network protocol, Ethernet is a serial communication standard and is highly preferred in modern networks. These packets are forwarded to a distant software based IP socket application connected to virtual COM port redirector or peer IP converter.
